After spending the day doing important things like laundry, cleaning the office, and working on my wedding tan... I have decided to sit down and start to brainstorm all of the various music we will have at our wedding.

This seemed like an easy task. Especially for me, as I would quit my job in a heartbeat to become a DJ.

This is not easy.

There is so many aspects to a wedding that need music and given that B & I both hold a very eclectic taste... this is becoming impossible.

One thing is for sure... Our first dance is going to be to "You Are the Best Thing" by Mr Ray LaMontagne. We love him. We love that song. We love the words.

Just realized it's exactly 2 weeks until the 4th of July.  That means we will have been engaged for 1 year on the dot.  Time files...and just to kill off any expectations now, I don't have anything planned to top last years 4th celebration.

I'm planning that for the 14th instead and it will be here before we know.

I had hands down the most epic night of my life last night at my bachelorette party.
Today Brandon keeps making jokes about strippers because I have a feeling he met one or two at his bachelor party. He is not funny.
I have THE world's best friends. I am so blessed and thankful.
Best weekend ever ;)

Mon: Meetings back to back for food menu at the Fountains & flowers at the Parsonage.
Tues: Cupcake meeting/tasting at the Union General.
Wed: Mow the yard.
Thurs: Dinner Date.  One month count down.
Fri: Blow out my birthday candles and have a cocktail or two.
Sat: Bachelor/Bachelorette parties downtown.
Sun: Word up to you Father's.  I have a surprise for "The Truth" that I think he will appreciate.

I LOVE getting RSVPs in the mail. Today I stopped by the house on the way home from one work to my other work, just to check the mailbox. It's probably the most mail I've ever gotten in my life.

First lesson learned the hard way.  Somehow number or code your RSVP's (which we did....eventually).  This way for all those ninjas you invite that don't put a return address on the card and no names on the RSVP you will know. 

Any guesses for this mystery couple...?

We are back from an amazing weekend in Traverse City to celebrate Brandon's cousin, Emily, getting married! Despite a little rain, it was a BEAUTIFUL ceremony & reception ... Emily was stunning! I can only hope I look half as pretty. We had such a good weekend... we wine tasted, danced, and rode our bikes almost 30 miles with Bruce & Terry! I probably don't even need to say it, but seriously... best weekend ever.

This week is filling up fast with stuff to do. Having a Rosengren/Horner family meeting to finalize our list for the bar (super important), ordering some engagement pics, and hoping that more and more RSVPs come in the mail!

I just found out that I will have a pink limo party bus on my Bachelorette party. Which is in 13 days. AHHH! :)
