Well....I think the fun is just going to continue.  We didn't have big plans over Labor Day Weekend and I wanted to start on building a backyard patio, but now Derek and Ashley have invited us to their cottage on Higgins Lake.  I guess we didn't cause too much havoc at their wedding last weekend and they still like hanging out with us. 

Life is short and there will always be work waiting, so it looks like we're going to pack up again and hit the road for another fun weekend on the water.  Thanks guys....first round is on us.

My one piece of advice (and not that anyone is even asking me) is to only take shots with half the people that ask.  If you drink shots with everyone who mentions it the whole party then you're not going to be able to stand at the end of the night.  And I think you're going to want to make it back to your hotel room, probably for multiple reasons....

1 fabulous month of being married has gone by! We've had a lot of things to do: honeymoon 1 & 2, weddings, birthdays, house projects, pool parties, arranging gifts, writing thank yous... it's gone by so fast!

We're so excited to run to the West side of Michigan this weekend for a wedding for our fabulous friends, Derek & Ashley! B is in the wedding, so he gets to look studly in a tux. Can't wait to dance the night away!

My 1 piece of wedding advice to Ash? Smile. The WHOLE day. Don't stop smiling. Because you never know when someone is going to take a picture and you don't want to look like you hate your wedding. Because I had some weird pics taken of me. But I promise, I wasn't mad... I was just really hot!

Tomorrow will be one month since "the party."  We've been eating out a bunch lately, so I think we'll stay in and have a romantic dinner.  I'll make french fries, Elyse loves french fries.
